Paris Fashion Week started yesterday! After seeing the brilliant collections shown in NYC, London, and Milan this season, I'm waiting with baited breathe to see what Paris has in store!

Looks I Love: The Independent Spirit Awards

The Independent Spirit Awards are always overshadowed by the nearby Oscars but I spotted some really great looks on the red carpet that I wanted to share with you!

Zoe Saldana looked great in her Balmain Spring 2012 dress and Brian Atwood ankle strapped pumps (that I'm currently searching high and low for lol!)

 Anna Kendrick looked cute in McQ. 

 Kate Beckinsale was chic in a playful Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit.

Loved Rashida Jones in her Oscar de la Renta dress! That print is everything!!

What I Wore: Good Morning America Day 3!

Today, for my final appearance on Good Morning America, I wore a white Versace S/S 2012 runway dress with an Oscar de la Renta gold link bracelet! I kept my accessories minimal to let the dress shine. Here I am in the dressing room before the show!

Looks I Love: The 84th Annual Academy Awards

There were a ton of looks I loved last night at the Academy Awards! Here are some of my favorites!

Viola Davis was breathtaking in her custom green Vera Wang gown and Loraine Schwartz jewelry!

George Clooney's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, looked amazing in a bronze Marchesa dress! A lot of people didn't like the dress, but I absolutely loved it!

 Sheila E. looked fabulous in a form-fitting white gown and beautiful jewels. This woman is ageless!

 Maria Menounos looked lovely in her mint Maria Luca Hohan dress and Jacob & Co. diamonds.

Glenn Close turned it OUT in this F/W 2012 Zac Posen gown and tuxedo jacket! She definitely gave the young girls there a run for their money on the red carpet!

What I Wore: Good Morning America Oscar Shows!!

Soooo....I've been in LA for the past few days working with Good Morning America on their Pre- and Post-Oscar shows at the famous El Capitan Theatre! It's been an amazing experience working with the GMA Team and anchor Robin Roberts! I'm kind of obsessed with Robin after meeting her last week! She's got amazing style and is such a fabulous role model for young women in the entertainment industry!

Anyway, on to the ensembles! On Friday, I wore a purple one-shoulder dress by Preen, silver Michael Kors cuff and my favorite Dolce & Gabbana star earrings.

This morning I wore an olive green cutout dress by Opening Ceremony with a pair of Fallon earrings and gold and black Hermes CDC cuff!

I've got one more day left on GMA, and I've saved the best for last with a dress straight off of the S/S 2012 runway! Tune in at 7am tomorrow on ABC to see what I wear!

Inside My Closet: Michael Kors Slice Belt

As you can probably tell by now, I'm a total belt girl. I've always loved how the perfect belt can instantly elevate a simple outfit or update an outfit you've worn before! One of my favorites is my silver Michael Kors Slice belt!

I bought the slice belt at Saks Fifth Avenue a few years ago and it has served me well! I probably wear it a few times a month. It's a lifesaver and pulls together any look!

Here I am at an event recently wearing it with a silver Michael Kors cuff and Calvin Klein collection clutch.

When Erin and Stephanie of The Coveteur saw the slice belt in my closet during my shoot with them last year, they called it a game changer! Here it is featured in my profile on The Coveteur along with my Miu Miu sandals on my hubby's keyboard.

Amy Adams also wore the belt on the cover of Instyle UK last year.

My belt is sold out everywhere but a similar (although unfortunately more expensive) option available now is the metal waist belt by Matthew Williamson. Get it here!

Milan Fashion Week F/W 2012: Gucci

Here are some of my favorite looks from the Gucci F/W 2012 collection presented in Milan yesterday!

 

 

 

 

I loved the velvet, dark-colored chiffon, and detailed embroidered flowers on many of the looks and the dark romantic feel of the entire collection. The designer, Frida Giannini, said she was inspired by 19th-century decadence while creating the collection. What do you guys think of it?
