One Piece - Five Ways!

I'm a firm believer that if you invest in great pieces that you really love, you should be able to wear them more than once and get your money's worth. I hate the so called "rule" that you can only wear things once! We're in a recession people! :)

I got this great charcoal abstract-print L'agence dress from Netaporter last year. It's a chic sheath that is super versatile and I've gotten great use out of it!

Here's how I'd wear this dress for 5 different occasions!

Look 1: Cocktail Party

To wear the dress to a cocktail party, I'd throw a chic black Helmut Lang blazer over my shoulders, and pile on the jewelry! Here I'm wearing a Lanvin necklace, bracelet, and cuff; black patent Louboutin Pigalle 120 pumps, and my Charlotte Olympia Pandora clutch.

Look 2: Dinner with friends

For dinner with friends, I'd want to make the dress look a bit funkier! I added an Yves Salomon fur vest, Kelly Wearstler necklace, brass H&M bangles, pewter colored Sergio Rossi pumps and my Goyard clutch.

Look 3: Daytime Meeting

If I wanted to wear the dress to a daytime meeting,  I would add my Gray helmut lang blazer to make the dress look a bit more conservative. Here I've paired it with my Lanvin fishnet pumps, a Burberry belt, my black Celine Mini Luggage tote, and a black Hermes H bracelet.

Look 4: Nightclub
I have DJ residencies at a bunch clubs in NYC. If I were wearing the dress to deejay at one of them, I'd want the look to be more flirty so I'd add my Michael Kors Slice belt and cuff, Alexander Wang Fabiana cape sandals, and silver CK collection clutch!

Look 5: Running Errands
When I run errands in Soho, I like to be cute but comfortable! I would throw my T by Alexander Wang button-up sweater over the L'Agence dress with a Chanel necklace and my black patent leather Prada Wedges. I'd use my Alexander Wang Kirsten bag as it holds a ton of stuff!

So! There you have it. My L'Agence dress worn 5 different ways for 5 different occasions!
