Last week hubby deejayed The Weinstein Company's huge Golden Globe after party. I was in town earlier for another gig so I stayed a few extra days so I could tag along as his date!
I had a bit of a dress emergency when I decided not to wear the Cuchnie et Ochs dress I originally brought to wear. I ended up spending two full days looking for a dress and finally found this colorful Thakoon gown. Hubby found a fly purple tux from Hugo Boss.
After I decided on the gown I went through the accessories I brought with me to LA to finalize the look. Luckily for me I always overpack lol!
These are the combinations I came up with from what I had on hand. I ended up deciding on the last look. With the deep V neckline I felt a bit naked so I used a silver and gold link statement necklace from Lanvin to draw the eye up and paired it with my with my Anya Hindmarch silver crisps packet clutch.
Here we are before the party got underway.
The party was packed and Hubby killed his set! While he was at work, I, of course was, figuring out what mischief I could get into!
I mean! Anyone who knows me, knows I basically drink champagne as a water substitute so you know I was all over the Moet tree!
I ran into my girl June Ambrose in a gorgeous green gown and had a quick kiki!
And saw my good friends from Good Morning America, Eric Jones and Emily Gertler!
Later, Common stopped by the booth so we got a chance to congratulate him on his Golden Globe award for his song "Glory" from the movie SELMA!
As we were heading out after the party, we snapped a few pics on the Golden Globe red carpet! In the immortal words of Chic...Good Times!

Another fun look from from my whirlwind Art Basel trip earlier this month. This time I paired a cute crop top and skirt set from Topshop with all silver accessories for a cute, casual day look.

I'm thrilled to be listed as one of Harper's Bazaar's Most Stylish DJs for the second year in a row! Writer Chrissy Rutherford pulled together some of my favorite looks from 2014 in designers like Saint Laurent, Jonathan Saunders, and Fendi for the piece!

I'm so sad to see Oprah Winfrey's incredible and transformative "The Life You Want Weekend" tour come to a close! I've fan been a fan of Ms. Winfrey for as long as I can remember so it was a HUGE honor for me to be the official DJ for this ground breaking 8-city tour with Beats By Dre! I loved helping to create a positive and joyous atmosphere through music while Ms. Winfrey and her guests Iyanla Vanzant, Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Pastor Rob Bell inspired guests to become their best selves! In between speakers, I got a chance to play some of my favorite classic soul tunes and get the entire arena on it's feet for one big dance party! I also took lots of notes each week and am working on becoming MY best self, and co-creating The Life I Want!

I loved picking out my favorite sandals, pumps, and boots for Stuart Weitzman's new holiday gift guide!! They picked me to be the "Bombshell" which I obviously love lol!
Check out some of my picks below or at !
Ok I have to give a resounding #yassssss to this funky new Mark Ronson / Bruno Mars collaboration, Uptown Funk! If you know me, you know that I'm obsessed with classic soul music so I love the vintage sound of the track. It sounds like they sampled Zapp & Roger's 'More Bounce to The Ounce', one of my all-time favorite funk tracks. Check it out below!
